Best Service Ever, May 12, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Troy's VTX Premium Black Rubber Encased Olympic 300 lb. Weight Set GOSS-300VR (Misc.) I ordered this weight set from Serious Steel through Amazon.com. Arrived several days later. Unboxed everything and unfortunately they Olympic bar was bent at the center (damaged during the shipping process). I called the seller and have never had a better customer service experience in my life. I spoke to Frank who said he would immediately investigate what happened. I was copied on the emails between Frank and the manufacturer where the drop shipment had come from. He was relentless in getting a new product shipped out immediately, even though the manufacturer was stalling somewhat. The new bar arrived and was in perfect shape.
The product itself is really nice. The rubber coating appears durable and should last years and years. The bar itself has some machining lines on the ends where the weights slide on which gives some friction so that the weights don't easily slide off. (In case you forget to use the clips)
