A+ for home or commercial gym; daily use, June 25, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Hampton Fitness Chrome Beauty Grip Dumbbells - Pair (Misc.) The both of us are certified personal trainers and we are both responsible for the upkeep and set up of two commercial gyms. These sure are beauties! The grip is slightly ergonomic with a diamond nurled black plastic grip. The ladies in the gym use them with no finger gloves on, and their finger webbing doesn't hurt afterwards. We've had about 3 sets of these dumbbells (in different weights) for about 4 months and so far the chome has held up beautifuly. No chips, or scratches. I like how the weight is stamped into the metal rather than a decal used.
