Decent, but suffers from inherent flaws . . ., July 8, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Body Solid GCBT380 Cam Series Bicep Tricep Machine (Sports) First, it should be noted that this machine is set up for "standard" weight plates. If you want to use olympic plates you have to get an adapter. Although they claim the 14" adapter is what works with the machine, I suspect the 8" would be a much better fit. I'm sure there's 6" or so of just plastic hanging off the end because the actual bar is pretty short.
Second, they really should have included a place to lock your legs in. I find it pretty difficult to plant myself when using higher weights (particularly when doing tricep extensions). I find myself getting my legs into odd angles on the floor, which ultimately forces me to support part of my weight that way--which then leads to movement of the machine when doing the reps (I'm not using 5 pounds here).
Also, I'd say the biggest issue with this and any other angled plate machine is that the resistance is not constant throughout the entire range of movement. As the weight moves up it becomes heavier... Read more

It really works the biceps to the max. I would have rated it 5 stars if not for the fact that the instructions that come with it is basically useless. It gives a diagram of the machine and it's parts and that is it. You basically have to figure it out on your on via trial and error. It took a good hour to put together. Once you figure it out and put it together, you have a good machine. Other negative is they are slow in shipping, but this is balanced out by the fact that the shipping is free. Buying it through Amazon is a big plus because you save a few hundred dollars on quality machine.
